I don't really care. I get call of duties on my pc, and that is the only games infinity ward developed. They coudl ditch the wii all they want.

OT: I don't care about CoD4 at all, it would have been fun with the controls, but PC is definitely the best platform for it, and guess what? I have a PC.
Infinity Ward said they didn't want to port CoD4 to Wii, they didn't say "We don't want to develop for Wii".

That's only stated for big developers, who need a diverse range of platforms to ensure profitability. Since Activision, which own IW, is supporting the Wii, and they are the most profitable 3rd-party right now, it doesn't matter if one of their studios doesn't feel a few games need to be on it.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Nothing wrong with that. The controls would have been solid on the Wii and i'm hungering for FPS. but they realized the vision they had for this game and the Wii would restrict them quite a bit. And like others have said the PC has even better controls than the Wii anyway. Can't blame them in the least.

Either way, the Wii doesn't need to have the best version, as much as simply having a good version. From what I read, even the DS version of CoD 4 was better than the Wii version of CoD 3.

it doesnt matter to me since i play it on pc,but they could of made more money if it was released on wii
