I'm sure tons of first-party games will be cross-gen the first 3 or so years. And tons of multiplatform games.
-Astro Bot 2
-Soulcalibur VII: I have hope still.
-Uncharted
-Persona 7: Please don't take as long as the gap between 5 and 6. It would be nice to get Persona 7 mid to late life of the PS6.
-Final Fantasy XVII: It could be cross-gen with PS5. Not overly confident on that, though. Final Fantasy games rarely have cross-gen support. Even Intergrade is not technically cross-gen as it came out over a year after the PS4 versions of Remake and has new exclusive stuff.

Honestly im preventing myself from getting too excited about the PS6. Im not a fan of the pricing tendencies the console market is getting into, and theres 0 (zero) announcements about the PS6, so when they finally come, it might release in 2028/2029 and god knows at what pricing. Im not looking that far ahead.

Having all that said, id be lying if i say theres no franchises id be interested in. If they were to conntinue Resistance and Uncharted, id be interested

Uncharted 5 and Astrobot 2 from Sony. Also, the God of War Trilogy remakes as long as they play true to the originals with Kratos the way I liked him instead of whatever he is now. And the next Resident Evil for sure.

But to make me excited for these being on PS6 they would have to be built from the ground-up to take full advantage of the new hardware. If they are cross-gen, then I'd be perfectly fine just playing them on the PS5 (as long as they're 60fps).

Nothing. Aside from it underperforming in sales. Same with Helix.

I would love a new Motorstorm, Resistance, or Killzone game. Obviously something like Bloodborne 2 as well. As for what it is we might actually get? I guess Astro Bot and a new TLoU game.

I don't think there's anything I don't expect to come to PS5 as well. I'm sure eventually there will be PS6 exclusives, but at this point, they're very speculative, e.g. new games in well-established franchises, e.g. Gran Turismo. I guess what I'm saying is that this is probably quite early to be having this discussion.

Having seen some of the other anwers in this thread, I guess Ratchet & Clank would be one, followed by Ghost of whatever, and maybe Uncharted. I don't think there's anything like Ratchet & Clank available elsewhere, so it's a significant draw, and the execution of the Ghost of series has been great so far, with no similar enough games to my knowledge, so that's a big one too. I can probably resist getting PS6 just for those two though, especially considering the digital-only future, and Uncharted is not a system-seller to me, as much as I've enjoyed the series so far.

Astro Bot was a lot of fun for the most part, but it's even less of a system seller to me than Uncharted. I guess it's the first one that doesn't quite make it to my "official" list.

Of course it's important to know that PC is my main platform, which is why I'm excluding games available on PC. I'd rather invest in publisher-specific stores, which I absolutely loathe, than invest in Sony's walled garden that requires a ridiculously expensive piece of hardware as well. At least those publisher-specific stores often have very good prices, which isn't really true for Sony's exclusives.

I'm most excited for a new Gran Turismo. Astro bot 2 and Ratchet and Clank

Playstation has never really been about specific games for me, it's more about the combination of a wide third party selection plus exclusives that best cater to my taste out of the main players. I expect that to continue, but they need to do better with the exclusive side, get back to what it was at its peak.
Although Days Gone 2 would be wild. That game shoud have become a franchise just like TLOU or Uncharted or GoW.
