Forums - Nintendo - What's your favourite Switch 2 game so far? (and why)

I have played few native Switch 2 games, editions or otherwise. If we include Switch 2 Editions, it's Animal Crossing: New Horizons (with an honorable mention to Super Mario Bros. Wonder) just because I love that game so much.
Donkey Kong Bananza is the best in a fairer contest. It's delightful in most ways. Charming graphics and art style, some baller music, satisfying gameplay, and so on. Mario Kart World is relatively close.

Haven't had the chance to dig into the native S2 games yet, or just haven't been grabbed yet? If you're into say TPS I'd recommend Splatoon Raiders, also Fire Emblem is supposed to be good if SRPGs are your jam.

Haven't been grabbed relative to the cost Nintendo games are. I mostly play on PS5. I want to buy Kirby Air Riders, but not for $70. At least not right now. I bought Fire Emblem Engage on sale last year and want to beat that ideally before buying and playing Fortune's Weave.

Ocarina of Time I will probably get for Christmas as a gift.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

PS5: 116 million (was 105 million, then 115 million, then 122 million)

Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

hmm...it seems I have not played a Switch 2 exclusive game, yet

Most of my playtime on Switch 2 falls at:
1. The New Monopoly (2004 version? published by Ubisoft)
2. Resident Evil 4 (the 2005 edition)
3. King of Fighters 1995
4. Crash Bandicoot Trilogy

I only own FF7 Remake and Rebirth.  Rebirth is an awesome game though.  I haven't seen any first party game that has me chomping at the bit to go buy, and the third party games have to be exceptional for me to buy a third party game on a GKC.  I'll probably pick up Mario Kart World at some point, but I'm not in a rush.

Mina the Hollower. That game finally made me fall in love with my Switch2 (played it mostly in handheld mode). If we are talking Switch2 exclusives it is Splatoon Raiders (not finished with that one yet though, so the final verdict is still out).

While multiple generations old in its original generation: Witcher 3 Remaster. Runner up: Cyberpunk or FF7 Remaster. I haven't really taken the dip into any Switch 2 exclusives yet, just updated versions of older games.

Just to note (I've mentioned this before in other posts): I'm not saying that the new Switch 2 games aren't worth it, only that I generally play older games. Games originating on Switch 1 have a massive advantage given the console has had nearly 10 years against the Switch 2's single year of releases.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Considering the slim pickings with full games on carts, I would have to pick mario kart world

Yeah Cyberpunk is one of mine too, great game, and a very competent port as well.

I’ve been playing The Witcher 3 remastered, Mario Kart Tour, Star Fox, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Dragon Quest VII Remake, DKB, Metroid Prime 4, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and South of Midnight. But damn, the RE4 Remake just blows all of them out of the park.

Did you mean to say Mario Kart World?
