What are we thinking? A remake of the most critically acclaimed game of all time, or the most hotly anticipated video game release ever?

Thats a difficult one... Ill go with....*Flips Coin*........Ocarina Of Time Remake.

I feel like we already had this thread? Anyways GTA will win with 5 points at minimum, not that I think either game would be a 90 in my book. I don't think Requiem can be topped for me this year.

If it was a brand new 3D Zelda I think it would win, but since it's a remake I'll give the edge to GTA. I know Ocarina will be my favorite game of the year.

I'm confident Grand Theft Auto will take home the higher score. Maybe 97 to 94? Something like that. I expect critics will love the technological ambition and free-form gameplay of GTA. The Ocarina template remains brilliant, but it's relatively rigid, especially compared to critical darlings Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. The aggregate score for the 3DS version of Ocarina is 94, which is five points lower than the N64 version, despite a visual face-lift and some QoL features. I expect something similar for the Switch 2 version.

GTA 6, even though OoT will likely be in my personal top three along with Requiem and Fire Emblem.

Thinking GTA VI will review between 93-97, and OOT Remake will review between 91-96.

It won't deserve it but GTA. Remakes tend to score lower than the original. GTAVI is a new entry that people have wanted for 13 years.

I think GTA6 will almost certainly review higher. It is a brand new, long awaited entry of a popular franchise vs a remake, after all. For me though, it likely won't even come remotely close to the level of Ocarina (or Requiem).

That's a really difficult question. I can imagine that GTA VI will get many, MANY more reviews than OoT, so I can see it rounding slightly lower.
