Shoutout to the awesome Irene over on Famiboards for the topic; what say you VGChartz, do you think you'll ever consider say Horizon Zero Dawn or Red Dead 2 or The Witcher 3 to be "retro" games?

Or do you feel like gaming has matured to the point where this gen won't be viewed the way we now view say the 5th or 6th gen?

At some point for sure. Technology will eventually advance to the point where even something like RDR2 will become primitive.

Close to the end of the PS6 era I’d feel comfortable calling PS4 retro.
