Was PS2 and PC. Then was PS3 and 360. Been PS4 only for about a decade now.
With the way things are going at SNY, I very well may become Helix only, and if not then back to PC only.



PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.

Multiplat always. I don't understand people who stick to one company's systems and nothing else, unless it's for financial reasons.

At the moment my intention is to get games that run well on Switch 2 on that (Resident Evil 2-4 for example) as it's currently my preferred way to play.

For other games like SW Outlaws, or KCD2 judging on the direct footage, I'd play them on something else.

I mainly play on Switch 2. I barely even use my PS5 Pro. I just have it for games that don't come out on Switch 2. Which seem to be less and less, lol.

PS5 is where I game the most currently. But I have traditionally been a Nintendo and PC kind of guy.
When playing on the large TV with great surround I only play on Playstation. Handheld is owned by Nintendo.

PS is all I need. Sometimes there may be title on the PC that I miss out on, but not enough to warrant buying a whole rig.

For me, it's a matter of principle. One machine for this hobby is enough. Especially when I really don't miss much that I would care for.

I grew up with PlayStation and PS Triple was the first one I really wanted, before it was my older brother getting them with his own money. The 8th generation was the first one I could afford all systems but I ended up focusing on school so I pretty much didn't play anything during 2014-2018. Ever since I'm multiplat but I did fell in love with all kinds of Nintendo consoles during COVID and the image quality in first "next-gen" titles made me build my first PC in 2023. Now I mostly play on PC and Nintendo + collect my favorite games physically for the PS5. PS6 will almost certainly be the first Sony system I'll pass on.
