The update is free, but it did make me go out and buy another set of joy-cons. Had to have 8 controllers in the house now.

Probably not the only one. Smart thinking Nintendo

I kinda wish I owned MK8D now as it would be kinda cool to see it really pop at a higher resolution, given it was already a beautiful game even at 720p.
