Am i? There are thousands of digital only games and true ps3/4/5 i got a lot yes, if they would release physical i would buy it again.

Never said i hated digital, i hate a all digital console when even if a company wants to releaze  their games physical they cant because sony doesnt make um.

If that makes me a hypocrite then sure whatever hahaha 

I mean technically you can care about an issue without being directly involved in it; although most people choose digital, most people also chose the PS5 that has the option of playing discs. I care about physical games, but I buy a lot of games digitally as well.

People often care about political issues that don't directly impact them, for instance.

Well, this does make it seem pretty definitive. 

Even thou we fight against it, lets be honest we all knew sony wont backtrack..ps6 is digital only thats it.

lol I fucking told you so. Between Sony talking about jacking up PS+ prices immediately after announcing the death of physical games, virtually every digital platform charging its subscriber base to skip ads, Sony’s closed ecosystem for selling their games, the PS6 costing upwards of $1,000 (gotta recoup that loss somehow) and now this, I’m 95% certain they will throw in ads and charge you to skip them at some point (I’m thinking sooner rather than later), be it via subscription tiers or “pay $ to skip ads” microtransactions/popups.

It’s like they’re actively trying to be the most hated company. This is worse than PS3 levels of arrogance at this point with how much they’re shooting themselves in the foot and treating their base like cattle. Remember when they thought people wouldn’t bite back at the $600 PS3? I’m getting those vibes and then some with this.

You have 3 options.

1. Free PS NOW supported via ads aka what Xbox is doing.
2. PlayStation Home 2.0
3. They’ll be shoving ads into video games and you’ll have to pay a subscription to skip them.

Now I’ll let you guess which 1 of those is pure crazy talk.

It’s not crazy to think they’ll do what every digital platform now does on an ecosystem that they control and don’t have to share with anyone like PC does. No way would Steam be able to get away with that, they know they’d lose a good chunk of their base to other PC digital storefronts like GOG, Windows Store, etc.

Sony’s MO with everything as of late has been to squeeze every penny out of their consumers, they’ve given me exactly 0 reason to doubt they will.
