No I won't be buying it. Honestly if I ever felt like diving into the GTA world I may just get a cheap copy of GTA V to see what the fuss of these games is all about, and from what I hear there's a ton of stuff to do in it that will last ages so that's good enough for me.

Well put. Same for me.

Well, I don't own a console that will have the game, but assuming I did, the answer would still be "no" even before the latest news of the $80/$100/code.

Interested in seeing how the game runs, the new engine, etc, but not much interest in actually playing the game itself. And zero interest in the characters and theme.

There is a stronger chance of Angela White knocking on my door wanting to fuck and holding a check for 20 billion dollars than me buying GTAVI. I never played V even when it was "free" on PS Plus. So not even if the game was given to me.

No, I won't. I played GTA V (got it free on the Epic Store) and I didn't like the move to split story into the three characters, plus I didn't found them very likeable (I still don't understand why people liked Trevor so much).

GTA VI seems to be following the same path, but with two characters, so I don't think it would enjoy it.

Please excuse my bad English.

LOL 5 was given to me and outside of letting my son play the first 5 minutes it was never played again.  He was only about 14 or so at the time and the game made me instantly uncomfortable.  "sorry kid this is way rougher than I expected ... time to turn it off" .

I had played other peoples' copies of some previous entries and just got bored rather quickly.  It was novel for about an hour and that was it.  Perhaps if I had played one from the begging and got caught up in the story I may have felt differently but alas I never have and I have no real desire to do it now.

Edit - lol thanks for nothing, I had no clue who Angela White was, so looked while I was at work.  If questionable searches or websites were an issue here I likely would have been sacked long ago for the amount of time I spend on this website when I need a break or am just bored.

GTA isn't really my thing. Finally bought GTA V about a year ago and barely played it.

Knowing how rabid the casual block of gaming consumers are about GTA VI, I always find it so funny when I come onto VGChartz and see virtually no excitement whatsoever lol. That said… the price tag has been revealed ($80USD) but with a twist: Code-In-Box.

What do you say? Are you buying for console? Will you wait on PC? Or are you gonna pass?

Because VGChartz makes up like statistically zero percent of the community.

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completed

Yes but not for me. For my boyfriend. He's a PC gamer, but is willing to play it on my PS5 since there is no PC release scheduled

We will be double dipping I guess
