If this is true (though that would be almost one third of the eligible install base for this game [i.e.PS5/XS] pre-ordering it, that just seems bonkers) -

then a lot more "hardcore gamers" than we thought are going for this game; I would not expect many "casuals" to place a pre-order within the first hour of availability, you have got to be kind of informed and committed for that.
