Nintendo pays homage to a classic Ocarina of Time trailer in this new one:
Just 15 more days!
Can anyone confirm what the Dead Hand is like in the remake?

New trailer does over the additions to the game, including dashing, jumping, gyro aiming, voice acting, and the ability to replay boss fights from the Hall of Fallen Foes:
Any early reviews out for the new Ocarina of Time?

We now know the developer behind the remake, and it is actually the main Zelda team themselves, EPD 3: https://www.gonintendo.com/contents/66785-main-team-behind-zelda-ocarina-of-time-s-development-revealed
The devs also considered adding fast travel to the game, but ultimately decided against it: https://www.gonintendo.com/contents/66789-nintendo-tested-new-fast-travel-points-in-zelda-ocarina-of-time-s-remake-but-decided
And lastly, Nintendo confirms that the character designs/visuals are based on puppets shows and practical VFX: https://www.gonintendo.com/contents/66784-nintendo-confirms-puppet-inspiration-behind-zelda-ocarina-of-time-s-character

For some reason, being made my their main team makes me think that's pretty much confirmation there will be Majora's Mask Remake as well.
I'm glad they've decided against fast travel - I tend to hate it in games if it's not implemented firmly in gameworld and has cost.
Also, SMAA+FSR1 seems to be confirmed as AA solution - leave it to Nintendo to have DLSS capable hardware and not use it.

Yeah I genuinely didn't expect this would be the main team themselves, I kinda expected it would be Grezzo or Monolith Soft, with EPD3 all hands on deck for the next new mainline entry. Guess it goes to show how seriously Nintendo are taking this remake.
Normally I don't mind fast travel, but yeah I don't think it would fit well with Ocarina as it was designed without it.

It's been a journey them getting to even use FSR (Tears of the kingdom) and SMAA, so hopefully DLSS is in the next wave nintendo first party titles. It is a baffling omission to make such a gorgeous game and let the graphics be tarnished by jaggies. Still looks great but yeah...

Yeah, jaggies and shimmering are really distracting - funny thing is, given the leaps that Switch 2 emulation has already taken (apparently, MKW runs at 60fps in Eglantine as of yesterday, though not completely perfect), there's a fairly big chance that modders will inject DLSS into it very soon after it's released. If that happens, maybe it will make Nintendo patch DLSS into a game on original hardware as well, at least as an option.
