Really hope this provide at least a hundred hours of gameplay across all 4 routes. Three Houses can take almost 2 hundred to finish all its routes

Wtf... Well if true that's the second $80 game. Bizarre that they chose fire emblem to get the super premium price point.
Edit:
In the UK MKW is £66.99 digital and £74.99 physical, but Fire Emblem is only £58.99 on our Eshop, so it looks like it's not the equivalent of an $80 title here.
But in the USA it's $70 on the Eshop and they're also meant to get digital titles cheaper now. So the US may be getting screwed with this one.

It actually makes sense. Fire Emblem fandom is really hardcore and play for hundreds of hours
If I have to choose a niche of players who play one IP from Nintendo and almost nothing else, Fire Emblem fans are definitely inside this niche
It's not a game they want to convince broader audiences to get into, it's a game to milk a small, but solid, existing fanbase
Does anyone know if Rise of the Tomb Raider has gyro aiming? I know they still haven't added it to Tomb Raider 2013.

Well I'm gonna buy it. I lok tactics RPGs and I've been searching for an excuse to jump into Fire Emblem. (I am living evidence to IcaroRibeiro's response to your post lol.) Honestly that price tag just gets me all the more excited for this game has to offer!
I was hoping for some Mario Kart World Dlc :(
September direct so be it
We reap what we sow
First impression is that Xenoblade Definitive Edition uses the same upscaling technique as XCX did and has similar problems, though it's now quite as bad. Then again, I didn't notice any problems with XCX when I tried the Switch 2 Edition for the first hour.

Fire Emblem is my favorite Nintendo franchise. If you have the Switch online, try to play them in the release order
You can start with FE7, which was the first released in west and it's called simply "Fire Emblem". It's quite easy and mechanically simply (GBA games are really simplified compared to the SNES games)
You can them proceed to Path of Radiance, which is a fan favorite
If you lack a 3DS, you can then jump directly to Three Houses. 3 Houses is a must, since Fortune Weaves seems to be a spiritual sucessor to 3 Houses (same world, same gameplay mechanics)
Other easily accessible games are Sacred Stones (available on Switch online) and Engage
Well the physical version is up for pre-order now and yeah, confirmed it's $80.

Or play mainly on the go.
But it's great to see that Switch 2 is getting such a broad support for third party titles, and not just small or very old ones, as Kingdom Hearts IV shows very well.
