Wtf... Well if true that's the second $80 game. Bizarre that they chose fire emblem to get the super premium price point.

Edit:

In the UK MKW is £66.99 digital and £74.99 physical, but Fire Emblem is only £58.99 on our Eshop, so it looks like it's not the equivalent of an $80 title here.

But in the USA it's $70 on the Eshop and they're also meant to get digital titles cheaper now. So the US may be getting screwed with this one.

Well I'm gonna buy it. I lok tactics RPGs and I've been searching for an excuse to jump into Fire Emblem. (I am living evidence to IcaroRibeiro's response to your post lol.) Honestly that price tag just gets me all the more excited for this game has to offer!

Fire Emblem is my favorite Nintendo franchise. If you have the Switch online, try to play them in the release order

You can start with FE7, which was the first released in west and it's called simply "Fire Emblem". It's quite easy and mechanically simply (GBA games are really simplified compared to the SNES games)

You can them proceed to Path of Radiance, which is a fan favorite

If you lack a 3DS, you can then jump directly to Three Houses. 3 Houses is a must, since Fortune Weaves seems to be a spiritual sucessor to 3 Houses (same world, same gameplay mechanics)

Other easily accessible games are Sacred Stones (available on Switch online) and Engage
