Forums - Nintendo - Starfox, a reimagining of Starfox 64, out now on Switch 2

Currently on my first expert mode campaign and I'm still motivated to play the game - it's just awesome. The changes in expert mode are not as big as I remembered. I wonder if there's an actual reward for getting all medals in expert mode. On a side note, I think the hit targets for medals in expert mode should've been raised. If you've unlocked expert mode getting 150 hits in Corneria is really not a challenge for you.

One big improvement in my book is Slippy, that fucker was annoying as shit in the 1997 version, sounding like he was constantly huffing helium, and is much more tolerable here.

Not to mention in cut scenes he seems actually useful.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

What's wild to me is that apparently a lot of people online are surprised that Fox is "an asshole who's only in it for the money" in this game when the Starfox team were always mercenaries.

Some people weirdly seemed under the impression that Fox was this heroic member of the Cornerian military motivated by righteousness and justice.

Which is doubly weird cos nobody seems to have an issue with Samus being a bounty hunter who is in it for the cash.
