Just Nintendo being Nintendo.

Doesn’t that mean you want them to be ruled by a bunch of idiots?

EDIT: sorry. I see English isn’t your first language.

Thanks, I fixed it... I think. xD

Nintendo doesn't do mass layoffs, quash labor unions, and does provide very fair compensation, employment protection, and grants a great deal of respect to all of their employees (e.g. research the development of Mario Bros Wonder. No deadlines, no heirarchy, no nonsense. Same with BotW and TotK.)... but man, do they spit in the face of their fans at times. Would be nice if Nintendo just kept the good times rolling, but everytime they garner goodwill, they give people a reason to be outraged. Surely this isn't some extremely weird strategy to maintain revelancy? I mean, this is Nintendo we're talking about. They've done far weirder things.

Been my opinion for a long time Nintendo is the most anti-consumer out of Sony, MS and Steam.

Considering laying off employees, shutting down studios, terminate game production and compulsorily increases their hardware/subscription prices literally impacts the players themselves, I feel like you should take another look at your compass

Nintendo shut it down probably due to the guy opening a patreon.

The price increase is because ram is tripled in price, that isn't really in Sony's control.  I don't know enough about why studios are being shut down, that requires insight on financials which none of us have.  Sony is a publically traded company, they do have a board to appease.  Gamers have a horrific ability to ignore economics.

At the end of the day Nintendo rarely does sales on software.  They ported Wii U games to the Switch at full price.  Prime 4 has music locked behind an amiibo.  3D All Stars was missing Galaxy 2, which they sold later at $40, which is absurd pricing, not to mention it was a limited digital release...   BotW on the S1 is still full price on their eshop.  The Switch has had zero price cuts.  Their Switch joy cons were pieces of crap which they denied, I went through 4 of them.  The list is extensive.  Wii U classic games weren't ported to the Switch.  Classic games are behind a subscription.

If you want to argue they are all the same, fair, but Nintendo is incredibly anti-consumer, I don't think that can be argued IMHO.

So what does this guy do? Write fanfic of Poke'mon? Last I checked, that's copyright infringement. Whether you are another company or a fan you can't just steal someone else's characters and use it willy nilly for your own content. If I made a character, story, and world but then someone else stole it, for profit, the internet would understand why I would be upset. But when a fan does it it's fine?
