Not really niche at this point but if you haven't you need to play the Nier games, Replicant was remastered for the PS4 and Automata is a masterpiece.

I have played and really enjoyed Automata; with Replicant, would you say it holds up as a game originally made for the 7th gen, I heard at the time it was criticised for its gameplay back in 2020?

Concrete Genie- a forgotten first party title, nice use of motion controls and fun (none combat driven adventure)

Dreams/Tear Away- Tearaway especially is a charming little platformer. Media Molecule are brilliant developer.

Inside - Brilliant atmospheric/horror side scroller

Laserleague- some of the best local multiplayer fun I had on PS4. It's a fantasy sports/Tron like game had don't care much for competition but its great. Wonder what the dev is up to now.

Tearaway I am interested in for sure; Concrete Genie wasn't really on my radar before, but looking at it now, it does look interesting! Thanks for the heads up.

Its one of the best remasters. Everything looks significantly better and they improved the gameplay too plus added a new true ending that connects to Automata.

I would also day Guardians of the Galaxy as underated but it should betting a Switch 2 port soon

How does it compare to Automata gameplay wise, is it anywhere near as good?

Ps4 version of Replicant is a remake with combat that is remade to be closer to Automata. Also they went back to the Japanese protagonist of the Brother rather than the US Papa Nier. So the game is great.
