Forums - Nintendo - GTA6 potential day 1 launch on NS2

I would not play GTA if NPC count was halved and whatnot; it is not really about visuals.

Well you managed just fine in the gta games that came before, right?

I mean obviously the "full fat" version would be the preferred version for most players, but the notion that having a Switch 2 version available would somehow be a bad thing and a "black eye" for Nintendo is nonsense.

Some people just prefer portability over graphics, and no normal person is gonna be like "I think worse of the Switch 2 now that it has a GTA6 port".

They can always come up with a cloud version. Like Capcom did with NS1.

I would love it, but not for the console war. I'd genuinely like to play GTA VI on a portable gaming console. That would be a dream come true.

I personally wouldn't play GTA anyway.  I tried 3, VC and IV.  I never got the appeal.  Sluggish controls, terrible combat and stupid physics.  But hey, whatever makes people happy.

Random thing, but wasn't there an entire thread yesterday about CDPR financial release and platform breakdown for Cyberpunk 2077 including Switch 2 year one sales? It now seems to have dissappeared completely...

Yeah, 9% of Cyber in 2025 was S2, or something like that.  TBH that is lower than I expected, given Cyber is old on PC and ps5, but new on S2.

Yeah I never felt they were particularly compelling either; I tried GTA: SA on PS2 and 4 & 5 on Xbox 360, but I couldn't get into the unlikeable characters, clunky controls, and tedious mission design.

And how do you perceive the concentration of NPCs in a specific area? Through your nose?
