March Update — New Games & New Score Tallies!

Attention all! Here’s your start-of-the-month update on the OpenCritic Prediction League:

  • Four new games have been added. Mina the Hollower (from Yacht Club Games, the team behind the Shovel Knight franchise), Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, and Silent Hill: Townfall.
  • One game has been dropped. To the surprise of almost everyone, Pokémon Winds & Waves has been pushed to a 2027 release window.
  • Point tallies have been updated. Congratulations to @Shtinamin_ and @BonfiresDown for leading the charge this month, racking up 38 points overall—that’s an impressive 9.5-point average per game. Wow! An honorable mention goes to @VersusEvil, debuting just one point behind.

REMEMBER: As the year goes on, aggregate OpenCritic scores will fluctuate. While titles such as Resident Evil Requiem may currently sit at an 88, that score could shift significantly by year’s end—potentially reshaping the distribution of points.

Tagging all active participants: @BonfiresDown @Darwinianevolution @Shikamo @shikamaru317 @UnderwaterFunktown @Kyuu @VersusEvil @Shtinamin_ @ArtX @Wman1996 @dane007 @Zippy6 @Koragg.

(Side Note: The visuals for this are still a WIP (still trying to decide on colors for "Who's in [X] place?" or "How far off was [Y] from the actual score?"). So, please excuse the ugliness for the moment lol!)

Also: Pokopia (80) and Bubsy 4D (80). Those are my new predictions.

Notification for all missing OC predictions for the month of March.

Pokémon Pokopia (3-5): Missing prediction from @Kyuu.
Crimson Desert (3-19): Missing prediction from @dane007.

If you do not wish to place a prediction on a game releasing in a given month, then please disregard this message. This is only to serve as a heads up for those looking to maximize overall point tallies— some users value points-per-game over points overall.

  • Mina the Hollower - 87
  • Belmont's Curse - 85
  • Kena - 85
  • Silent Hill Townfall - 81

Raising Crimson Desert to 80 while I'm at it.
