Forums - General - What do you eat for breakfast?

Typically just organic muesli (oats/dried fruit/nuts) + low fat milk.
I do really small portions though, and usually have a big lunch instead (and again a small dinner lateron).

That and a cup of black coffee, while reading the news, before heading out.

Bread.

And a glass of milk. In the typical Dutch way. Two thin-ish slices of this; 🍞 and some butter, with either ‘hagelslag’, hazelnootpasta or pindakaas. In the weekend instead maybe even some cheese, or ham, or an egg if I’m feeling wild.

3 scrambled eggs added to sautéed veggies (bell pepper, red onion, mushrooms, tomatoes) a small pinch of feta cheese and salsa. This is my meal just about every morning.

I used to eat pancakes and eggs everyday, but that was definitely a destructive path. It sure tasted delicious, though.

And not that you’re asking, but lunch is usually a massive salad. All those veggies, three types of lettuce, carrots, celery, raisins. Couple teaspoons of dressing.

I’m not too overweight (I think I can easily lose 15 pounds, but not much more than that) and I’m pretty active, but I find its best to eat the same thing every day as attempt to lose weight and get down to a weight I feel more comfortable with.

I have plenty of cheat days, eat fast food occasionally, and eat whatever I want during the occasional restaurant visit. It’s all about moderation I feel.

Chorizo and eggs with a couple of tortillas and avocado usually. Occasionally some beans

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Protein bar typically with maybe a sweet baked good if there's any.
Sweetened and unsweetened cereals or low-fat yogurts sometimes as well.
And it's not eating (drinking) but usually coffee or a carbonated energy drink. Coffee is more common in my rotation.

yep. It looked like you ate pretty healthy from your description.  Ever done any restrictive diets? like vegan/fasting/carnivore or whatever?

I do intermittent fasting: 7am breakfast followed by an 11pm dinner. No calories consumed in between. Been doing this for around two years at this point. I like it mostly because...well...fasting is a fun thing to do. Also, it keeps my mood and energy very stable throughout the day. Never get hungry.

i didn't really get a lot from IF and then switched to dry fasting.  That was effective but stressful.  The latter was kind of even for cost (inconvenience and stress of not eating) vs benefits (more endurance, fat loss), but i'm glad that it's working well for you.

Cup of coffee.

Coffee and eggs. Or milk and eggs.
