Last week's thread: Famitsu Sales: Week 25, 2025 (Jun 16 - Jun 22)

All consoles are up but NSW2 is 21k up, +11% week on week. NSW2 already has more week above 100k than PS5 in Japan.

PS4 down 18%

The Switch 2 being up over the last two weeks is extraordinary, demand for it is truly bonkers. For the Switch 1 it broke the streak again so time to see if that was just a fluke or not and the PS5 recovers a bit but is still in rough territory. Also the Switch 2 is nearly 90% of total console sales and once the Switch 1 truly fades it'll keep getting a lot of weeks like that.

I expected DS2 to do better or atleast similar.

Wowza! Nintendo is really making sure that Japan has maximum stock.

Nintendo really stepped up for this launch, the supply seems constant and high.

the most astonishing part is that NS2 sales are likely quite a bit *higher* since they don't track nintendo store sales, if im correct?

Nice to see all consoles (sans PS4, but it's irrelevant at this point) up from last week.

Great opening for Tamagotchi Plaza too.
