I'm behind on my gaming. There's still a lot of Switch 1 games for me to get through. So it will be a while yet before I start delving into the new Switch 2 games.

I gotta finish Echoes of Wisdom at least by July 17. I think I have two dungeons left, but I should probably track down Heart Pieces.

This video says that there could be up to 15 worlds and 5 Bananza forms in Donkey Kong Bananza.

Seems about right, because the amount of content should be similar to Super Mario Odyssey. The big banana list for individual worlds looks similar to SMO's moon count too, so they are likely going for the full 999 (or maybe they'll do exactly 1,000) this time as SMO's unique moons amounted to "only" ~880 and the 999 were reached by simply purchasing more moons from the stores.

But what could be the other two Bananza forms?

Swordfish and spider I guess... Rhino I think would be too similar to zebra in moveset

Spider maybe just for the pun that would come with it, Swordfish would be cool but I would rather either Enguarde was brought back for underwater sections, or crocodile for irony.

I feel stupid but I can't think of a spider pun that would work for Donkey Kong. 

He'd be a literal spider monkey.

Nintendo's approach to Switch 2 graphics is interesting; rather than pursuing system-pushing new tech they seem to be using most Switch-1-level rendering techniques but increasing the scope and detail and aiming for relatively high native resolutions without DLSS.

Probably a smart move with high end graphics causing so much development bloat these days.
