Excellent sales, Nintendo! Here’s to the console continuing to do well the rest of June…and beyond!

"The Wii U sold out at launch too!" and "early sales are just the fanboys" seem to be the go-to cope, funnily enough just like in 2017 with Switch 1.

Anyways outstanding achievement now the challenge is to keep up with demand and provide a healthy line-up of Nintendo games.

The funny thing is that some haters are already making up stuff like many Switch 2 owners sending back their Switch 2 consoles because they are so dissappointed in the hardware.

Great start, sounds like it was bigger than PS5 and XBox Series combined probably bigger than PS4 and PS5 launch weeks combined as well.

Nintendo is on its own level in terms of moving hardware now, not even Sony is close.

According to VgChartz, the biggest week ever for a console sales is 2,059 million units with the Nintendo DS in December 2008. This is crazy

That pretty much means MK World is close to 3.5 million in its launch week too. At least over 3 million.

Finally, we got the goods !

Seems like we were about right with the launch numbers of about 3M on launch week, even better.

Man, a lot of the controversies seem more silly than rooted in actual proof.

The first party lineup for 2025 is strong and the price of the console is fair. Obviously, Switch 2 isn't going to sell 3.5m+ in July, but supply and ongoing demand should remain pretty strong.
