I've toyed around with Stable Diffusion and keep track of the latest innovations in generative AI on YT. 

Interestingly, my frustration with SD's limitations motivated me to pick more conventional creative software back up. 

It could absolutely go horribly wrong but I do think there's strong potential for AI and robotics to get humanity a lot closer to a utopia. The transition period will likely be horrid but eventually people shouldn't have to work to get by any more due to AI and robots doing all the work and providing resources.

It knows culture but it's tying culture across decades. Before it kills us all, it'll unite the generations.

Opus 5.5 is a surprisingly big leap in this area. It genuinely blows all other publicly available models out of the water in terms of quality, especially quality consistency for videos that are minutes in length.

If I have it right a key difference compared to something like Seedance is instead of generating everything it basically uses code to produce everything through Javascript and whatnot and a very intelligent general model doing that sort of thing instead of dedicated video models could be the future of this field. These two examples are very impressive to me and makes me wonder just how insane things will get over the next 1-2 years.

The AI knows our culture better than us across generations. We're all fucked.
