The Duskbloods 29 4.72%

Hades 2 19 3.09%

I tried to make this list as streamlined as possible. Let me know if you have any other options for the list. I tried to leave out enhanced releases, Gamecube games, and late ports (kept Metroid Prime in there since it's not out yet and seemingly will likely share a date with the Switch version).

Donkey Kong Bananza

Drag x Drive

The Duskbloods

Hades 2

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Kirby Air Riders

Mario Kart World

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour

Mario Kart, DK and Fast Fusion are the three titles I'll be after. Kirby Air Ride probably too. Prime 4 I'll probably play at a later time.

Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Kart World and Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. Im also really excited for Elden Ring(even though I own that game) unless its a game key card.

Donkey Kong Bananza for me! As much crap as DK64 gets for being a collect-a-thon, which even I'm guilty of criticizing it for at times, I still love that game to death. And it was saddening to be reminded of how long it's been since we've had a 3D DK game.

Returns and Tropical Freeze proved that the DK IP was still something special, and now he's getting the full force of Nintendo's internal teams to bring him back in the same vain of what Odyssey did for Mario and what Breath of the Wild did for Zelda! I really liked how expressive his new model is. I will say I wasn't initially entirely sold on the new game world since I'm so used to the DK Country games, but it's really grown on me, and the emphasis on the action and destructible environments makes me really excited to see what DK can do!

Honorable mentions being Mario Kart World and Kirby Air Riders.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Mario Kart World > Donkey Kong Bananza > Metroid Prime 4

I’m absolutely itching to play MKW.

That's my order as well. I'd add Pokemon Legends Z-A in 4th. I'm disappointed there's no new 3D Mario game. Odyssey is the reason I bought a Switch.

Mario Kart World and Prime 4.

Also really looking forward to the Tears of the Kingdom upgrade since I never got very far into that game and this is a great opportunity to finally do so.

In terms of 3rd party games there's Cyberpunk because I'm super-interested in the gyro controls and Fast Fusion because I'm soooo curious to see what a next-gen Fast game looks like.

it WAS Duskbloods until I found out it was PVP first. PVE second. the PVP elements are the shit I hate the most in fromsoft games (They're good modes but I HATE being forced into them for the crime of wanting to play with friends and I just generally hate competitive modes outside of nonsense stuff like Smash Bros and Mario KArt and Mario PArtY).

Now I don't even know if I want it.

Mario Kart, however, is EXACTLY what I theorized it needed to be after how good Mario Kart 8 ended up being, from the open world to the linked maps to the free roam. THAT game looks like it was so perfectly tailored to my tastes and interests that I Don't mind the price.

I'm happy to pay for a game I love, and I've been saying since 2011 when I first played Skyrim that some games are worth 100+ Dollars even if I knew that entitled people are gonna bitch about it.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Mario Kart, Donkey Kong and Metroid all look good, but personally Hades 2 is the most up my alley. And I quite like what they showed of Age of Imprisonment.

If I was getting one, Metroid Prime 4, DK Bananza in second place. Mario Kart looks suspect, Idk about those tracks going by the mini map, they look ripped right out of a cheap percedurally generated rally game. Sonic racing Cross World has come to my attention and thst looks far, far better imo, I'm get that for a Kart fix even though I only did a replay of CTR in January, a game I don't think will ever be beaten as my number one.
