Breath of the Wild is the Switch version on a Switch 1 cartridge, but with the paid-update via a redemption code. The Switch 2 version of the game isn't on the Switch 2 version of the cart.
Breath of the Wilds "enhancements" is just a few changes in a text file to improve resolution, framerate and apply anisotropic filtering... That's a massive amount of profit they are gleaming from what I could do on the emulated version of the game in a couple of seconds on PC. |
Then BOTW should be pretty cheap then, as the Switch version should be $20-$40 by now in a fair world with the Switch 2 enhancements free or a small fee.
