Monster Hunter World opened with 5 million across PS4 and Xbox One, but the PC version came out several months later for an additional 1.5-2 million~ copies if memory serves me right.
Things Wilds has going for it:
1. Bigger IP now than it was prior to World's launch.
2. PC version releasing simultaneously with PS and Xbox.
3. Larger Playstation and PC/Steam active playerbase.
Things it has going against it:
1. Some doubts concerning sales in Japan.
2. Xbox is smaller than it was as far as traditional software sales.
3. Likely a fewer double dippers than World and Rise.
4. Higher price compared to World and Rise.
Edit:
It sold 8 million copies in 3 days.
