Still can't get the vlair Obsvur OST out of my head, I'll be doing tmsome thing and hear the music in the back of my mind independtly, it is so damn strong.

Something to add to the list now. I heard in a few places that South of Midnight has one of the year's best soundtracks, so I took a listen and those people might be right. It does a cool thing where just about every track features singing as well. A lot of music is very clearly inspired by the American South and folklore of the area.

It's been a while since the last update, but I finally had time to check some recent video game music, and I thought the Donkey Kong Bananza OST is very good. Perhaps not quite the best of the year for me, but I can easily see someone else pick it as their favourite.

MKWorld by a landslide. That game’s OST sits among my favorite OSTs for any video game I’ve ever played. Carries the game to an absurd high.
