Source: Trust me, bro. It's still just a random motherboard and he still doesn't confirm anything.
EDIT: Look, here's an image of the highly confidential PS6 motherboard. Please don't tell anybody, it's top secret.

No, the source is a guy that has extensive and recorded history on his channel tearing down and modding the internals of consoles and controllers, etc.
And he explained the reasoning for why this would be very difficult to fake. Surprised at your dissmissive and rude responses over a subject you seemingly know very little about, towards someone that does.
In those cases I tend to ask more questions rather than making sarcastic assertions.
No, the motherboard cannot belong to "anything" because its size, layout and ports clearly portray a smaller sized system. And none that I know of also have a game cartridge slot. SD card slots have a different size.
Add to this that a lot of it lines up with shipment data between manufacturers and Nintendo for parts, and that's why you have people reaching the conclusions they have.
Some people treat all rumors with the same validity, when they shouldn't.
When I posted the thread about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake reveal leak a few hours ahead of time, what was different about that rumor from every other is that a reputable publication (Siliconera) went on record to say they verified it themselves.
That's very different from reporting on someone elses rumor.
Here they put their own reputation on the line, saying "we've seen it".
Why would they risk taking a huge hit to their credibility over something that would be dispelled a few hours later that same day?
That made me very certain that it was true. Despite this, there were a bunch of people here who didn't believe it.
I think it's an important skill to learn to apply critical thinking to rumors, rather than just going by the first thought that comes to mind.
And people on forums like these have a unique opportunity to do so since we dabble in the subject often.
For example, you may not be aware that SpawnWave knows his way around the internals of electronics.
But the way he spoke in the first few seconds of that clip very heavily suggests that he does.
So you do a quick 5 second search on his channel, and then you see a bunch of videos like this pop up.

So yes, I'm inclined to trust the assessment that this would be "very difficult to fake, and is a really really good one in that case" from a person that repaied consoles for a living, and still makes videos tearing down and explaining the components on gaming motherboards.
