If we assume Jamboree has around 70/30 physical/digital split in sales that would mean that Jamboree in Japan has sold around 1,1m copies as of now. So WW total sales should be 5-6m copies.

I'm comparing week 51, 2024 to week 51, 2023 and his data is comparing week 51, 2024 to week 52, 2023 this is because last year was a 53 week year so his data is aligning the dates rather than the week number.

Even with that being the case, it appears you should now know the proper breakdown for week 52 & 53 last year, as you had the same numbers for both weeks, and it appears that week 52 last year was actually 104.3 thousand, and week 52 for PS5 was 49.8 thousand.

Kind of crazy to see that only 4 games in the top ten released this year...

Oh yeah, thanks for pointing that out. At the time they lumped those two weeks together but now we have the proper breakdown a full year later.

Hard to believe how Sony is failing in Japan.
PS5 Pro has been selling as a niche product since week 2 and that trending only got worse in december. And even worse, PS5 can't put a SINGLE GAME in the top 10 for third consecutive Xmas-season week. Are you fu***** kidding me? That's a DISASTROUS situation for PS5 inside the japanese developer industry, a very financially stressed one.
And to make it even worse, the machine seems to enter in a sells decline, in Xmas season, even BEFORE Switch 2 has been presented.
Don't expect any third party PS5 exclusive from Japan. It won't happen. That's over. PS5 is barely selling anything there.
...
Something is very wrong in that company. Very very wrong. Since many years ago. This is not "a blip", this is just unacceptable: they do not have any Series competition there.
I think that Switch 2 will have the best tier support of all the Nintendo consoles

And the only thing to rightfully prop it up in the next few months would be Monster Hunter Wilds arguably. Though looking at the price points and the low software amount it sells, I preconcive so far that the game is in trouble so sell near as much as World did back then unless Capcom announces a release for the upcoming Switch successor
