I mean, to be fair, they kept bragging about how "inclusive" their character creator was, so I think it was a fair question why women with large breasts and butts were not included in their "inclusion".

See I always see that group saying "we're trying to be inclusive", but most of the time they actually end up not only being exclusive, but also promote their very own bigotry/misandry, and they argue like everyone else on the planet is being crazy (that's honestly bordering insanity, imo).

If they truly wanted to be what they say they are doing, they would include everyone, but they won't, because they have their own standards, hypocrisy and bigotry, but don't want to admit it, so those born with large breasts or butt get excluded and ridiculed for being "unrealistic" (again, bigotry of it's own making, and I won't have anyone tell me otherwise).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

No. It is a Hero shooter. They simply should look like Heroes and not everyday Joes or bums off the street. It is the way things should be with a cast of super heroes.

Are superheroes super because they have muscles or because they have superpowers? Are superpowers reliant on muscles?

They have to give the vibe, would Captain America be as cool if he never had his transformation? Would you believe the weak, skinny version of Captain America if he never changed through the series. Would Spiderman be as cool if he didn't get physically enhanced or end up with a cool suit. The phrase, women want to be with him and men want to be him come to mind. We are primal no matter how ya slice it. No one wants to see an unfit superhero unless it's for a gag like with Thor, physically fit physiques give the impression of strength and yes you can have physically fit women that still look feminine without making them look like they are on steroids.

The gameplay great, people are loving it and I was having fun. What I take issue with is the speed and pace of the game, they choose to slow it down for some reason and the complaints I have are very minor little tweaks like the character move speed, TTK and what not. All design choices but not mechanical failures. Looks like they spent a LOT of time on these 33 characters which is a wild number and getting them half way balanced before release. I'm sure they'll tweak the game as players demand.

I can see why they would slow it down though.

See high TTK means less reaction time, and less reaction time means casual folks will just get smoked by a combination of players with quicker and higher response reflex times, as well as a mindset for min/maxing strategy (going for Heroes that kill quicker, or are generally stronger), which when combined, can create a horrible time for the casual/ not-overly competitive crowd.

I'm getting older myself, and my reflexes are not what they were way back when CoD MW1 originally came out, and I do think I would instantly drop a game, if the TTK was as quick as E-sports level micro clicking (It'd make me feel unwelcome and make me feel like I need to be a sweater just to keep up, and imo, no game should really be fostering that mentality to begin with, as it forms toxic behavioural patterns).

On the bright side, the fact it's F2P and you have access to all heroes is a good thing, it's what the default should be for all F2P games honestly. The only part we have to worry about really is them "balancing" the heroes over time (it's a new game, but you will eventually start playing musical chairs soon enough, it is inevitable), as well as the price tag for skins (hopefully they don't copy Blizz and charge £30-60 a skin).

Makes sense. I do hope they would increase the character speed or give you a boost when trying to get back into the action after dying, increase the speed there and I'd be more willing to stay locked in.

Captain America's superpower is his physical strength that he got from his transformation so in his case yeah.

As for everything else you said... honestly I'm done here man, I'm out of energy for this.

Well it wouldn't work with ugly looking characters. And some game just wouldn't be the same if they weren't attractive to a level. For example, playing resident evil with jill valentine, parasite eve 2 with aya brea. More recent memory would be the doctor from persona 5, 2B from nier.  Also the age you play certain games makes a difference,

And if Superman wasn't of the peak male physique? If Batman had a beer belly and didn't take care of himself. If Black Window wasn't toned up or was a skinny model, if Bruce banners transformation was a big lanky green string bean, would you believe it for a start? Would it have the same effect on you? Or would you feel like they aren't cool or hero like, what If they were dressed like garbage men from the 80's with no thought in design, like this...

But more than that, I never realised how important good, interesting design was until Concord, not to just character shooter but to everything. You want to be with the characters or be them and that's so very important. Beauty comes into that very heavily and our definitions of beauty are physically fit people who are good looking. It's all so very simple.

I'm playing FF7 remake now and while I agree with Andrea, he says "True beauty is an expression of the heart. A thing without shame to which notions of gender don't apply". It has to be situational, you have to have the character for the role they play and you have to have them astethetically pleasing and if not, you have to go extra lengths to make them look badass or have a reason they don't that fits with the story and from situation to situation. With FF7 remake everyone is really hot apart from Wedge, he's over weight but they nailed his role perfectly without dipping into severe stereotypes. You can't have Wedge as the leader of the group with a mini gun on his arm, no, they chose a peak male for that and for good reason. I also agree that things can be taken too far, like Stellar Blade, at times it is way too much if you put Eve in a bikini fighting monsters, it makes no sense and is really jarring but it's nice to have the option for people who are into that and roleplayers. Thankfully they provide all sorts of outfits for her, ones that make her look badass and ones that she could use when she's fishing and it's up to the player to choose what outfits suit her in what actions but she always remains physically fit and really believable in all situations and on that point, sometimes it makes sense to have a very muscular female, for example Abby in TLOU2 makes sense as she wants the best chance at surviving not only in the world but in her fight against the ones that killed her father, infact Ellie could have done with some muscle on her even though they tried hard to make her agility her fighting edge but in having her in fights they broke immersion, one punch from Abby and she's done but, they didn't remove beauty from either character, they both look good.

Dragons Dogma 2 and Dragon Ages Character creators are great, Dragons Dogma is fantastic in detail but not great for people who wanna roleplay as ultra sexy characters. Thankfully I wanted to role-playing as a beaten down beastkin in DD2 at the time but trying to make my pawn have a proportioned female body was very tough because of the starting body shapes, they were shaped like neathandrethals and the men were no better, no classically toned bodies whatsoever.

Cyberpunk and Baldures Gate 3 get it, you can make your character look as weird or as beautiful as you wish or you can make a Demon women with a penis and it's all cool. Particularly Cyberpunk which chooses gender off of the VA, that was a touch of genuis and everything else is at your discretion. I just want that variety, the ability to make the character whatever way I desire to role-play or to gawk at. Not to be forced to make a standard looking character that is supposed to be the chosen hero but looks like he or she, just came out of a cave in 10,000 BC.

They are jealous of the pretty privilege and want characters to look more normal, I understand where they are coming from. They believe themselves to be altruistic in this goal but they can't see that they are doing the same thing they are trying to fix and causing exclusion, now of pretty people. All they have to do is options and they'd be able to feel good about themselves and please the audience at the same time, cause if they continue this, they don't understand people at all, and costumers won't show up.

Replace these two below with two characters from Concord and tell me if it would have been the same game.

If the characters are not going to be hot then at least make them badass looking. If wanted to spend the little free time I have watching ugly and/or boring people, I would just look outside my window.

I replayed RE5 last week... I love both of their alternative outfits!

Is this the game they were complaining of racism? I don't see it in these images, she looks like she fits in that attire, she could easily be of that culture.

Superheroes play a fantasy role. People fantasize about good looking heroes, or playing as idolized good looking heroes.

Superpowers rely on fantasy, muscle tone is part of that fantasy.

Anyway broad chins, dunno why that's not a part of femininity. Nadja is one of my favorite characters atm

Watch the latest episode, fucking incredible. (S6 E9) https://m.imdb.com/title/tt33029995/?ref_=sr_t_3
The budget they must have had for that episode for costumes and make-up alone.

Muscles are hot on women as well

Ilona Maher should play Abbey in Tlou2!

Not Kaitlin Dever

She needs to bulk up.

Same applies to games as to movies. Attractive characters attract the audience. People pay more attention to fit good looking people, simple fact of biology. Want to sell more games/movies, make it more attractive to the majority.
