Finally found a game I may be able to get invested in or at least I hope so, Shinobi Art of Vengence. A pity it doesn't release til Friday and since it's so cheap I tried buying Car X Street to go alongside it but the game glitched at the purchase screen and charged me nothing so I can only now download the game and it stops mid way through with an error. Restoring licences doesn't work so I guess I'm locked out of that one. I was hoping that would be a game that would be easy to play and get one out of ones funk cause I really enjoyed Car X Drift despite it's low budget and grind heavy flaws.

Oh cool. I got CarX street for free somehow cause of a glitch in my cart on PS5. I'd reckon this is a sign from above to play this game.

HIGHLY recommend Shinobi! I found a deal that allowed me to get the deluxe edition for the same price as the standard edition that gave 2 days early access, and my god, this game is a work of art! I'm only a couple of hours in so far, but the soundtrack, art direction, and animations are S tier. And the combo abilities, while so far simplistic overall, are incredibly satisfying due to the stylish animation.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Just beat Rendering Ranger: R2 Rewind on the Switch. Its a port of a Super Famicom only game. It was awesome. No wonder the SFC version is so damn expensive.

Its made by the same guy who did Turrican. This is way better though. Highly recommended.

Ah yes! I'm early, got about an hour in, I can't find a complaint. Feels so old school and new school at the same time much like The Messenger but with an artsy sheen over it, I guess the "art" in the title means art in the litteral sense.

Lost Soul Aside

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I'm playing Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver remastered. This is a game that needed a true remake instead of a simple remaster

Graphics wise it aged okay, but overall controlls and camera are as clunky as we could expect a PS1 games to be. There are tons of annoying things like the excesse of loading when opening doors and too many shadows and obscure spaces because PS1 couldn't handle the graphics

The level design is pretty good and the puzzles are fun (although a bit obnoxious sometimes). The story and worldbuiding are interesting and I like the backtrack. Remake it with a modern day engine and it will be fine

Giving another shoutout to Age of Mythology Retold. There have been constant content updates since launch. I especially enjoy the multiplayer, but the added campaigns are nice too. I find it to be the most fun RTs on the market, even if a bit unbalanced at times. But Chinese and soon Japanese shake up the meta hard.

Finished Castlevania Rondo of Blood 100%. Cool game, cute cutscenes. Short and kinda easy.

Replaying Symphony of the Night for the first time in over a decade. It controls like a dream, what a game. An all timer for sure, but I wish it had more difficulty options. Exploration is half the fun, but doing side stuff will level you up and reward you with equipments that make the game's combat super easy.

I got Bloodstained Ritual of the Night years ago on PS+ but didn't like the 2.5D, the artstyle, and the basic characters animations/controls. Only finished (and enjoyed) Curse of the Moon. SotN is making me want to give Ritual of the Night another go, coz people keep comparing the two.

Finally moved to Death Stranding 2 after having platined 1.
