Death Stranding, but you already played it.
Plus Zenless Zone Zero, that is becoming quite an amazing game.

The thread is recommendations for one and all and a place for people to just talk about games when there is no specific thread.

Zenless Zone Zero has been on the side of my radar for quite a while, I'm kinda intrigued but never enough to jump in.

Jusant. Third indie game in a row that i adore. Another indie game banger, which i slept on but thanks to ps plus gave it a shot. Another example of why i love gaming and why i look forward to new console releases and the new game experiences they bring along.

Nice. Great to hear it's good, logged in the cosy games collection folder for a rainy day or burn out.

Oh wow. Xenoblade has a spiritual precursor. Interesting.

It starts with Xenogears on PS1. Xenogears was going to be a Final Fantasy game but Square deemed it too dark, but Xenogears budget was slashed so the second disc was not completed. It's just characters on a couch explaining what happens. The first disc is a turn-based RPG with some great concepts and mechs. Hi-Fi rush has a segment that pays tribute to Gears second disc. After Tak left Square, he formed Monolith Soft. Made a spiritual successor to Gears in Saga. meant to be 6 games cut down to 3 and then remakes of 1-2 on DS (Japan). Nintendo was going to buy NAMCO, but the deal did not go through, so as a consolation, they got Monolith away from Namco.

I've had this for a while and tried it out, but will give it an honest go. There is a language barrier. I also want to buy the first two PS2 games in the series. All of them are made by From Software. They take mecha from different anime series and do a crossover story. It's not like Armored Core at all nor Souls. Straight-up mecha action games.

Soulstone Survivors is ... okay. it's not as bad as I thought at first but I now realise the people on Twitter saying this is a horde Survivor that is worth high indie prices at 25 euro are so wrong, it's lots of content but it's mainly bloat. Vampire Survivors is worth 25, well maybe 50 or 60 but there are many harde Survivors better than Soulstone for 5-10 euro. If you ever feel the desire for this wait for a half price sale or bu keepers toll, army of Ruin, Brotato and NERD Survivors alm for close to this 25 price tag.

Banishers GoNE had proved a little less interesting with how linear it is but still phenomenal and a hidden gem.

Cathrine Full Body is extremely hard to get into but I'm going to keep trying, same goes for Kentucky Route Zero.

Oblivion Remastered is a nope from me, I got over the difference in colour but the constant stuttering is causing headaches. You can't even ride your horse without a near one second freeze every 10 seconds. I have no reason to save up for the blavk horse and much of the game has aged terribly, it feels shallow and the map doesn't feel vast as it did in 2007. I will leave it installed and use it as a kinda of Wallpaper game, roam around and do a quest here and there when I don't have the energy to play something more complex.

I'm playing The Midnight Walk atm and taking my time with it. It's a hand crafted stop motion like horror adventure, although much more surreal than horror. It's like walking around in a world inspired by Machinarium crossed with Psychonauts and oozes charm.

The 'horror' parts are mostly escaping getting caught by hiding in certain places. It cleverly restricts your view (vignetting) to indicate you're hidden and in some instances you have to close your eyes to activate glowing eye doors or use sound to locate something. Progress is made by lighting your path with fire. A walking fire pot keeps you company which you can use to dissolve dark barriers and light candles. You can light fires and candles with matches, striking them against giant match boxes or shooting them with reloadable match stick holder.

Yet the best are the characters you meet, the conversations and walking around in the world. It might become my goty after I finish it and play through it again.

Claymation in VR is awesome!

Finished and Completed Croc Remastered

I still think they should have made 1&2 in one remaster and sell it for 25ish.   One game for 30 is just a lot(got it for 20 tho).

Anyway overal fine platformer and I always wanted to play it but I have a personal issue with it.

In my head and hands pressing jump twice in a row = Double Jump but in Croc pressing jump twice in a row = Ground slam..

Yeah I certainly died 100 times because I slammed myself into an abyss

I am going trough Masaru's Love Journey....Sjeez =p
