I'm playing The Midnight Walk atm and taking my time with it. It's a hand crafted stop motion like horror adventure, although much more surreal than horror. It's like walking around in a world inspired by Machinarium crossed with Psychonauts and oozes charm.

The 'horror' parts are mostly escaping getting caught by hiding in certain places. It cleverly restricts your view (vignetting) to indicate you're hidden and in some instances you have to close your eyes to activate glowing eye doors or use sound to locate something. Progress is made by lighting your path with fire. A walking fire pot keeps you company which you can use to dissolve dark barriers and light candles. You can light fires and candles with matches, striking them against giant match boxes or shooting them with reloadable match stick holder.

Yet the best are the characters you meet, the conversations and walking around in the world. It might become my goty after I finish it and play through it again.

Claymation in VR is awesome!
