That Splatoon 2 rhythm game went a little crazy when I was in 9th grade. Can’t think of any other minigames I’ve fallen in love with to the same degree.

I like a lot of Zelda's minigames, especially the ones that are organically implemented into the structure of the main game. Twilight Princess's snowboarding vs FF7's snowboarding, for example. Or the fishing.

I forgot to mention the first time I had seen such minigames in a game. TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan on the Gameboy. See for yourself:

Don't make much sense in context, but they were a nice bonus and distraction nonetheless.
