The problem is the game is not made to turn if off cause the controls suck ass with them off and not balanced at all, unless you have a keyboard and mouse.

Yep. It certainly feels like you're at a disadvantage for sure.

Yea if these games had good combat they would be leagues ahead of everything else but alas the combat is just not fun.

Yep. I was very surprised that RDR2 couldn't even meet Uncharted 1 levels of TPS with the budget it had. I guess they were afraid to change the formula too much from GTA5. Rockstar could never get it right though, I'm not expecting miracles in their weakest aspect either.

2 billion so far is the cost!!!
I mean, even if it somehow is terrible it will make that back. But I wonder if it is like the movie industry where they need to make double just to break even? Then marketing is also added in and everything else so you need even more.

Your title has a misspelled word. "do far"

Since they have their own publishers, they don't need to make twice but maybe more than 1.5 times. The marketing will be lesser than the cost of development.

Oh, good to know. So then games that Nintendo make for instance, usually at least I assume, has the same rules? Whenever you have your own publisher then you only need 1.5 times?

Anyways, 3 billion for GTA is easy. They have not had a bad GTA game in what? Ever. Obviously early on they were still learning and had to deal with limited technology, but I always remember the older ones being fun too.

They will make that money back with just online shark cards

I think their online focus will steer the game in a direction that doesn't work as well for me. I expect to be at least somewhat disappointed by GTA 6.

Pfft. 3 billion. You're not thinking the long haul, GTA online is where it'll make the money, not only back buy it'll make insane profit and this one looks like they'll be expanding the map for online and supporting it even longer. Think like 10 billion after all is said and done and it'd be closer than not.

Concept map made on the leaks. Holds up to what they've said but I feel the smaller cities and the main city itself is too large and it also doesn't account for the two smaller islands of Cuba and Bahamas nor whatever the third island is.

I think the artist behind this map is thinking to grand, no way will it have that level of density in the cities and still retain it's scope but it does follow the generational trajectory we've seen from previous games evolutions.

I think I'm one of the dozen or so people who haven't played GTA V, but I'm hyped for GTA VI. I just hope the rumors of it costing more than $70 don't turn out to be true.

Still annoyed it's not launching on PC day 1, I'll stay strong, won't buy a console and will wait instead

Same here. I'm going to wait for the PC version as my PC is more powerful than any console on the market and should easily still be more powerful than the PS5 Pro.
