Trump's peace plan is for Ukraine to surrender. If Ukraine surrenders, Russia has a working war economy and weak neighbors like Lithuania, Moldovia, Georgia, and Armenia. Trump has talked about leaving NATO and Europeans have clearly not supported eastern Europe enough, so Russia can just continue.

You might think Russia would run out of men. But as already seen with NK, they can just buy manpower from their little axis. If China joins in, infinite manpower.

If China or anyone in east Asia is emboldened, Japan becomes unhappy.

If Trump does his planned tariffs, Japan becomes unhappy.

Not sure why I explained that, it has been known for months.

He has no power over that, he won't be able to tell Ukraine to surrender and they won't go for it. If Russia invades more countries in the east Europeans will rise against it especially cause they're part of NATO unlike Ukraine and an attack on one is an attack on all. Putins not that stupid to cause a world war.

I know, I'm fearfully he will leave NATO. Go's I hope he's just talk. How do you think this will effect thing in the middle East with Isreal?

I see your point but I suspect Xi will be less emboldened with Trump at the helm, they don't know how to react to him. He's a wild card.

@Ryuu May I please be unbanned from the Ukraine thread. I promise I will only comment if I have something valid to say nor will I repost anything. I have concerns I want to discuss and nowhere else to discuss them.

Europeans fighting Russia all at once wouldn't be possible if they can't even arm Ukraine. Russia will war through Ukraine over the next 3 years. If Europe sits around twiddling their thumbs like they have been, then they won't have nearly enough ammunition to counter Russia when they come knocking on Lithuania's doors with fresh NK and Chinese troops.

US will support Israel to keep their foothold in the ME.

China still won't risk a naval invasion of Taiwan, but maybe they will bomb it to death.

This is a bit melodramatic, but people need to get the picture that Trump is not your friend.

Btw, someone will also probably kill Trump or he gets too sickly and leaves things to Vance.

Like I said 100 pages ago, liberals do not connect with middle America. And so much not trusting betting firms. So much for not trusting polls.

It appears many of the smart people in this thread aren't as smart as they think.

The results disappoint, but do not surprised me. Liberals have no clue what middle America is like.

It all got shouted down.  The Democrats spend four years pretending major parts of the population do not exist then at election time they get worried and throw out stereotypical "working class white guy" ads and laughable Fortnite maps.  Yeah, good luck with that.  None of it had an ounce of sincerity and everyone knew it.

*Country music starts playing*

"Hi I'm [Insert random red state democrat candidate here] I like driving my Truck n' Fixin things! I'll be sure to vote for defunding the police and illegal immigration. Please vote for me because I'm like you!"

*Election Ends*

*Random red state dem takes off campaign costume like Mom from Futurama takes off her fat suit*

"Why didn't these hick morons vote for me?"

Assuming the trend holds, this election wasn't remotely close. Trump is decimating Harris, and he was under polled AGAIN. Heck, he is tracking to win the popular vote, so liberals don't even have that argument.

If the Democrats lose another election due to the Green party, they're going to become pretty unpopular.

You mean they might lose due to supporting genocide.

As opposed to Trump, who is well known for his support of Palestinians?

Because this isn't just about Palestine, Mehdi, the muslim vote is heavily motivated by their anti LGBT stance, and no, it's not even about "just trans" issues for them.  The left can continue to ignore it all around the world though, and pretend this these future far right wingers belong in our nest because aren't we just so nice and tolerant. Open-borders level of stupidity and blindness to what's going on here.

Protesting Biden's genocide by voting for Trump instead of Dr Stein? nope, this isn't what this is about.

Indeed, we shpuld be doing more.

I fear he'll be assassinated too which could lead to civil war in the US.

How I feel. I am checking out, I am too disappointed to be angry.

Brace yourselves, every one, the west as we know it is over.

My prediction from page 1, from July:

"Not convinced Harris can win. Middle America is key and the southeast. She being Cali, not sure she has appeal in key states like Georgia. She also has been blamed for the border which is a prime issue for many Americans."

This proves how bad the rot is within the US culture.
Trump is a convicted felon, wildly incompetent, holds disdain for democracy, and has facilitated the removal of human rights.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Problem is the Democrats are bombing family and friends (in Gaza and Lebanon) of the swing votes Kamala needed. The rationale in Dearborn is, I'm not voting for genocide. Can't vote for Harris. Biden hasn't managed to do anything to slow Netanyahu down.

I wonder how much of the Arab votes not going to the democrats contributed. It's an emotional vote, not strategic. The mood in Gaza / Lebanon is, it doesn't matter who wins, not much will change for us. That translates into votes lost in the US, either not voting, voting for Stein, or falling for the campaign efforts of Trump promising peace.

I posted about that before (Trump rallying support from Imams, promising peace in the ME) but was buried under poll results :/

Trump is a wildcard and there is some (probably misguided) hope that he will cut off or restrict funding to Netanyahu simply because he doesn't want to spend the money on the war. While Harris has shown she's not willing to change anything. Maybe she had a better chance if she wasn't the vice president of genocide Joe.

On the other side you have the people that endorse Trump for Israel. Netanyahu has made it clear he prefers Trump and that the democrats have been hindering him. Aipac has been hedging their bets, but also clear the Republican support is preferred.
