Looks like Metroid Prime has won this battle for the crown this month, though it was a close battle. The highest debut goes to Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club. The highest charting game that is on its final month is Visions of Mana at number 7.

When you take off titles that don't have release dates, Astro Bot reigns supreme. Visions of Mana makes a leap into the top 4. Emio, Concord, and Black Myth all make strides into the top 10 as they are on their way off next month. Fortunately, we will likely have a few new release dates announced during Opening Night Live. So maybe it'll help fill in some of the gaps left after this month.
