The 2 consoles that have a huge fan base are doing amazing so it's really hard for console wars when both are thriving, and xbox doesn't really have that many fans especially online.

Interesting point that you make there.  I tend to see a lot more playstation fandom myself.  But what do you mean Xbox does not have that much fandom online.

Final post and I will add content that I see related to the "console" war if it is still going on in this thread if I find anything. Finally it will be interesting to see if Xbox goes multiplatform. This is very exciting to see what is going to happen in the gaming industry.

I think Xbox will continue to make consoles for another few generations. But will go full digital in ten years. Same thing with PlayStation.
