Boom goes the dynamite on PS5 sales.

As I expected PS5 Slim launch week got it to jump to just over 100k due to the past month of like 2k weekly sales.

PS4 almost the same as PS5 in terms of Like a Dragon sales, didn't expect that it would still pull similar numbers now.

The question is if and how long it lasts.

Playstation doing its second best week ever, should have another week like this to compensate for the past month.

Switch sales have been rather disappointing ever since SMBW released, compared to the rest of the year.

PS5 this year is now back ahead of PS2 2003 YTD. This is the highest sales by week 46 for a PS home console since 2002.

I expect it will fall behind a bit over the holiday period but by the end of the year this will still be there best home console performance in two decades.

2nd biggest week for the PS5 (only behind its launch week).

PS5 sales right around where I expected. Helps make up for the dismal Switch sales this week. :/

Mario hangs on to number one though, despite the new releases.

OH YEAH! I predicted 106k. I was within off by less than 2k!
How I guessed that was by assuming a 30k per week baseline and then subtracting what was actually sold each week until I got the difference and added in another 30k for the current week (even though in actuality the Slim hasn't been available for a week)
But I got lucky and the my prediction method worked!!! 😊
