Well, these ones were guessed quicker than I expected. Just one game left for now.

-Glory to Mankind

-The final ending to the game involved fighting your way through the closing credits

So this one's Nier: Automata?

Yes, that's the one.

Didn't plan to add 5 hints to any game but since every other one has been guessed so far I'll give it a final chance

21) Ends with falling (depending on the ending)

The titular character is the protagonist's darker alter ego

Earthbound meets horror

The titular character is always in black and white, including on the cover art

A game from 2020 from developer and webcomic artist Omocat

Had a notification that someone had replied to one of my posts, but I can't see anything in the thread, so apologies if someone has already had a guess at some of these.

29 - Resident Evil 4 (Remake)
- This ‘trophy’ of sorts you get by defeating a powerful enemy was once required to progress through the game, but now it’s just a means to make some money.
- And you used to be able to avoid those deadly sisters, but now you have to face them.
- You don’t ride the mine cart(s) alone this time round. And you have to use your companion’s gun to take out the enemies and hazards during these cart rides - no choice of weaponry like before.

27 (incorrect guesses - Resident Evil 4)
- Whilst conservation of ammo was a feature of the first game in the series, in this sequel you’ll have a supply that is pretty much limitless.
- Seeing as this game is a lot more action-orientated and combat heavy than its predecessor, the abundance of ammo makes sense.
- Sees a return to pre-rendered backgrounds, after the previous game had fully 3D environments.

26
- Find every main collectible in the game and you’ll then get the opportunity to double your haul, as more of the same collectible appear (although different coloured), hidden in the levels you’d previously played.
- If you find all of these additional collectibles, then you’ll be able to play one more additional level.

24
- Avoid picking up items early on, and you may come across an additional enemy that will reward you upon defeat.
- This additional enemy is linked to the previous game in the series.

23
- In reference to game 24’s first clue - in this game you’ll find out how this enemy came to be.
- The main playable character in this game has a link to the additional enemy referenced in game 24.

22
- As you play through this game, it helps to pay attention to what you’ve seen, what you’ve heard, and what you’ve been told, as that knowledge will come in handy later.
- One of the playable characters in this game first appeared in an earlier game (of a different genre) from the same developer.

21 - Powerslave
- “I don’t want to die, I’m a God, why can’t I live on?”

Man, I just keep missing days here.

#22 - Willst thou get the girl, or play like one?
#21 - The previous game's penultimate "boss" is this game's final "boss". Well, not including all the post-game stuff after it, at least.

21) Figured this one out, Pokémon Gold and Silver

21: Powerslave? Or Powerslave Exhumed if it's the more recent updated port. Wasn't expecting to see an Iron Maiden reference.

Clues for upcoming games:

28 - Proximity mines. Proximity mines everywhere!

Sounds it could be Goldeneye

Yes!

One left from the last batch. And one new one

28. This 2015/2016 JRPG is from a media franchise that used to rival Pokemon. It featured a simple story and more than enough monsters to collect like the old ps1 games. The developers of this game used to make the Wild Arms series, and then they worked on Shining games, and more recently they assisted with Valkyria Chronicles remastered and Valkyria Chronicles 4.

23. A military tactical RPG released for the PS3.
