I would buy it, assuming it evers hit Steam. If it doesn't I guess I'm passing.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I'll get around to it eventually, but likely not until sometime next year at the earliest. I enjoyed the first game, faults and all, so I'm glad to see the sequel doing well with critics.

It probably won't. The last Epic published game on Steam is from 2016.

I was kind of excited to watch a let's play, but not even an hour in I started getting bored - it's all seen and done before, feels like a waste of my time.

Good chance it won't.  Which is fine.  If Epic wants to lose a sale that is their decision.

Good for it, but I'm not biting until a physical version comes out. I've never paid for a digital copy of a AAA game, and I'm not about to start, not now, not ever. Hell, the last time I paid for a download was when I got Blaster Master Zero when the Switch launched.

It's insane that they're sticking to this plan.  Even one of those specialty physical shops (Limited Run or iam8bit) tried to reach out to a make a cool bundle, with apparently no success.

I mean having it exclusively on Epic for the PC crowd is one way to screw over yourself long term so their choice

I just finished Alan Wake 1 Remastered (including the special episodes "The Signal" and "The Writer".
I still love that game!

Now I started a new playthrough of Alan Wake: American Nightmare, but I don't know yet, if I finish it again before switching to Alan Wake 2.
