Forums - Gaming - Alan Wake 2 PC Specs

Builds insane monster PC spring of 2023; continues being screwed for the remainder of the year anyway. Good times.

This is one of those games you just have to wait until all the bugs have been ironed out.

“PC Master Race” … until the specs are revealed :P

Don't worry, if their last game Control was anything to go by, it will run terribly on consoles too.

And it'll be in the contender for GOTY too.

Hooray for legitimazing bad development/release practices !

Is anyone playing this on PC and has some better shots than Digital Foundry?

They keep praising it as one of the best looking games, then post stuff like this

https://www.eurogamer.net/digitalfoundry-2023-alan-wake-2-runs-great-on-xbox-series-x-and-the-cut-backs-are-fine-on-series-s

Anyway game play and story are getting plenty criticism. I enjoyed the first one 360, yet will hold off on this until a next gen remaster.

Hopefully the nvidia 4000 series upgrades are true. Super versions with more vram at a decent price is promising

I haven't watched gameplay or story videos because I can't play Alan Wake 2 yet, so I'm avoiding any kind of spoiler. But the few stuff I saw from reviews, it looks like indeed the graphics are amazing. But I'm not sure if it justifies those requirements...

Game seems to run Ok on a GTX 1660 with the help of FSR.
