I'm curious where Kena is going to land. I honestly want them to launch in November or Early December. The whole avoiding GTA thing gets silly to a certain extent, like particularly for games with completely different audiences. I get avoiding its release week but if you launch the week before you will actually get your own coverage vs launching the same day as 4 other big profile games in September/October or Feb.

I think Sony will benefit having a more friendly family title available for the holidays and Kena would get a lot of goodwill sales imo

I hate that Persona is now associated with Xbox.

I don't think Sony really cares since they save money on marketing from it and they know the majority of the sales from a mainline Persona will be on Playstation regardless.

Xbox had low sales for JRPG's to begin with and now especially with the dwindling userbase on Xbox hardware these last few years, it's really just marketing towards the other platforms in which it will sell on. The only people it really satiates is a few users on forums and Twitter that can say yay Xbox has all the great JRPG's but it doesn't move the needle at all in the end. 

That's why Atlus agrees to it, there's no downside for them as they get free money/marketing and they know the fans will just buy it on other platforms anyways. 

Even as it doesn't make much sense as the core audience is not there, if Playstation still gets the game it really just doesn't matter.
