Jim Ryan was literally puzzled why would anyone play PS1 and PS2 games because they look ancient, of course the guy has no love for gaming whatsover.

Many also seem to forget that it was under Ryan that PS navigated covid even with all the logistical nightmares that came with supply chains, and moving to remote work (if I am not wrong, Sony were one of the first major dev/ pub to do this)

He was talking about the older Gran Turismo games against the newer GT Sport at the time. Hard to extrapolate beyond punchy headlines.

Fuck Jimbo.
Saros reviews are dropping tomorrow.
I'm guessing it'll land at 89, seems like a better Returnal all around. Would be nice if it could reach 90 tho.
I'll say 88 so when the late reviewers feel the need to lower the rating because "evil Sony must not win" it falls to 87.
Returnal is perfect for what it is and it only has 86 but I know metacritic is important for some people to buy so that's why 87.
It looks like People Can Fly prototype survived the first test.
Saros is averaging a 88/91 (MC/OC) right now.
Seems like it should settle around 87/89 or 87/90.
Having that 90 on OpenCritic at least would be cool.
Really does feel like a better Returnal.
Edit: Funny that 2 of the 70 scores on Metacritic say complete opposite things about the difficulty and learning curve.
And I can understand that, with the new system where you can choose to focus on stuff you are good while getting some penaltis for it, or choosing to get help with stuff you are not so good but losing some of the stuff you are good with (or choosing to not mess with the system at all), it is literally a different game based on how you want to approach it.
Its commendable, but let's see if it works out well or not, when I play it.

Not sure, but I doubt it based off the way the aiming works. Ideally they would have full 360 pointer controls (Metroid Prime 4) which can move the camera fully, but so far Playstation studios have only ever done adjustment with gyro which isn't needed much in this kind of game because of the amount of aim assist
