Anyway...Back to normal Trump stuff...

Around the Network

Nintendo Switch is saved! Oh thank God, I was starting to get really worried there for a bit, not f9r Nintendo but imagining a global depression in this day and age, expecting it really as I had my peace with it but now there is hope. Trump threw his tantrum, he made his point and countries will give his "better deals" whatever the fuck that means. There is still the problem of China and their stock market with 125% tarrifs but I doubt that'll drag us down like the US stock market could, at least I hope not and there is the problem that he has made things highly uncertain not just in trade but everything, God I hope he doesn't mention nukes or pull some shit with nukes in the next three years like he did here. What he tried to do was smart for the US surely but he tried to do it too suddenly, that's a 10 Year plan or maybe even a generational plan pulled in one day and watching Pelosi talk this strategy in the 90's she was aligned with Trump but it needed to just focus on China and be implemented slowly with percentages much lower than he went in with. Pelosi and Shummer and Trump made a lot of sense in the 90's and had it been enacted back then the US wouldn't be in such debt and this mess would never be needed. Everything the man is doing is just to fast and to sudden, he has no time for lube at all, he just wants in now and rectal bleeding for whoever he's fucking and he's not considering how no anal prep will effect him.

But Trump calls himself the best friend the Jewish people ever had, while he continues to spout anti-Semitic remarks as casually as another person talks about the weather.

Jewish Americans voted 78% for Kamala Harris. They aren't fooled, notwithstanding Trump's Jewish supporters like Miriam Adelson, Laura Loomer, Ben Shapiro, and Stephen Miller.

China has been reaching out to the worlds countries and regions and asking for them to "stand with them" and retaliate against the US.

It will be interesting to see how that plays out... China is definitely looking to replace the USA on the world stage.

I had expected that Trump would stick to tariffs at least through this week, so he's even more of a weak coward than I thought. Didn't even last a day.

While the stock market is recovering, the USA's credibility won't.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Trump is surprised when a reporter tells him that the EU today announced tariff increases on the US

Fox Business' Charlie Gasparino: "Let's be clear what happened, who capitulated here and why ... it is the White House who capitulated based on everything I hear and all my sources, and the reason why is because of the bond market and what happened last night"

So it was the bond market that spooked him.

Stocks rose after Trump partially pulled back on tariffs, recovering most of the losses his tariff announcement caused, but bonds did not.

US Treasuries calmed after Trump pulled back, but didn't recover recent losses.

The global loss of trust in the US, and the safety of US assets, remains.

LMAO. Whatever happened to "Liberation Day"?

It still happened. The world got free of the US influence on that day.
