At this stage, whether Trump is a Russian asset or useful idiot for Russia, the results are exactly the same, likewise for whether it's a mixture of isolationism or stupidity. Since becoming President he has attacked American allies (Canada + Europe), threatened American allies (Canada + Europe), went over Ukraine and Europe's heads and gave Russia two major wins before even starting negotiations, backstabbed Ukraine and Europe, has been kinder to Putin than he has to America's own allies, invited Putin an internationally wanted war criminal to the White House, invited Russia back into the G7 and done more positive for Russia's economy than America's.

Not sure if he is a Russian asset or useful idiot but I don't care, it's irrelevant at this stage, I think one thing is clear, Trump has more in common with Putin than he does with any American ally and that is why he prioritises Putin, that is the way of the new world and American allies need to wake up and see that and cut themselves off from America. It's no longer the America we once knew. If this was WW2 then Trump would be telling Britain to surrender to Nazi Germany, blocking us from NATO and telling us to give them Scotland, Lol.

I'm pretty sure Project 2025 is being played out exactly as planned, one of the things suggested in that was to overwhelm people right at the start to break them, they're counting on people losing faith and fight, tuning out from the news because it's too much, the tactic is to overwhelm and then push their awful policies when nobody has any spirit left to fight back or rather isn't paying attention.

In his mind, if Canada doesn't do what he wants and he imposes enough tariffs, you would come crawling for membership in the US. He can't conceive international trade as anything but zero-sum and other countries as anything but taking advantage of the US.

The best course of action is to divest from international trade with the US and delay whatever you can long enough until he's out of the picture.

Trump promises to build ‘greatest trade route’ in history with India via Israel

After a closed-door meeting at the White House, President Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have given a news conference to discuss their talks.

The leaders said they will deepen economic ties, with Trump saying the pair “agreed to work together to help build one of the greatest trade routes in all of the history”.

“It will run from India to Israel to Italy and onward to the US, connecting our partners, roads, railways and undersea cables,” Trump said.

In 2023, then-President Joe Biden announced plans for the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor, a trade route that would link India to the European Union via the Middle East, including Israel.

I thought you didn't want to trade with the world anymore... Does Trump have plans to take over the Suez canal as well? There's no route through Israel from India to Italy... Plus Europe will want to decrease trade with the US, not increase it.

So, Trump wants to do his own Belt and Road Initiative?

Also, keep in mind that Italy and India are currently ruled by prime ministers with many of the same right wing proclivities as Trump. 

What is obvious? That the US was run by a bunch of accelerationists the last four years?
