Awesome that the Switch has surpassed GB/GBC! Should be able to reach 120m by the end of the calendar year. Might just miss 20m for the year though.

This could be the last major milestone for Switch at all, though we won't know for sure until either late 2024 or sometime in 2025 at the earliest.

It will end far above 120 million. It's now at 219 million and Christmas week alone should be a million plus week. I expect it to end somewhere between 121 and 121.5 milion. Next week 750k, Christmas week 1 million, Newyear week 500k.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

my prediction is that the ps5 end the year between 31 and 31.5 million

I'm gonna say 33 million only because I don't think they can sell another 6 million in 3 months to get that 37 shipped by March 31st.

Really?  I thought the $50 discount was suppose to end that week but never did and the deal just kept rolling. At least that's what happened in Canada. It stayed 50 dollars off for the whole month here.

No it wasn't.... Last week it was over already, I tried to buy another one and it was back to normal price.

I don't know where you saw that but it was not at Walmart, Gamestop and Bestbuy...

I was in a Best Buy in Nova Scotia on Tuesday, Dec 27th for the boxing week sale and they had the Series S deal on then. I walked past 4 of them, I don't know what else to tell you.

I'm pretty sure you can find some outlyers here and there (like everything) but the promotion had a specific duration with very clear end date.
So maybe you got that luck in a local store, but it was not "Canada" wide; cause I wished it was :)

Very solid week all round

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

The following one will be even more, isn't the one when PS5 skyrocketed in Japan?

yes 70000 units

Xbox Series has done well so far with the help of Series S, but they're going to have to do more if they want to stay competitive in the long run.
They need to start releasing killer games if they really want to regain their 360 era mojo and not be permanently relegated to a distant third place.
