#49 Story-heavy handheld sequel that unfolds over a number of days, rather than one day like the previous game.
It's a much more personal story for the protagonist.
The company that made this game has sadly gone bust, but I believe that Nintendo owns the rights, so there's hope that our hero will come out of hyde-ing in the future.

#49: Kyle Hyde says this must be "Last Window: The Secret of Cape West". The bankruptcy of Cing is such a tragedy, given this series and even more Another Code and the fact they went bust just before adventure games got a second wind. I kinda doubt Nintendo owns the rights, they didn't do anything with it except a random appearance of Ahley Mizuki Robbins in Smash.

#50 The bonus stages are for earning continues in this game my friend. If you want those precious jewels, you’ll have to scour the levels themselves.
The game doesn't really get to show off the attribute its star is known for. You'd need to play its namesake on more powerful hardware to get that fix.
You won't be zooming around multi faceted levels here. You're in for a more measured, traditional platform experience.

I'm thinking this is a Sonic game. Given how you mention "more powerful hardware", which makes me think Sonic doesn't run as fast as usual, so he doesn't get to show off. Plus Jewels and zooming around levels. Yeah, Sonic. I don't know much about the game because I never played that one, but I'm going with Sonic the Hedgehog (Master System).

This is that medieval fantasy strategy game, with the hexagon tiles right? Uhmm.. Battle for Wesnoth (?) But I only know that because I remember it from last year lol.

Looked interesting though, which is why I remember it now, but I'll never get around to playing it. I should have known this existed when I was younger.

Yep, you got it.

In this game, you have to find the Chaos Emeralds in the levels, rather than in the bonus stages on the Genesis version. And the levels here are mostly linear and have a greater focus on platforming. There's very few occasions where you get to hit top speed.

Okay I'm back, gonna try to make these as easy as I can. #48 might still be out of reach for anyone who isn't @Jaicee (help me out here), whereas #47 should be basically a matter of who clicks on the hint first.


This song plays during a rhythm mini-game, where you have to play the bass.


This one plays during the end credits and as far as I recall, it's the only licensed song in the game.

So #48 is guessed by someone else, and #47 was not guessed immediately. Guess I'm not a prophet after all.
