Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do you still own your first video game? Which game was it?

My first was the Coleco Telstar:

And no I don't still own it, and yes this dates me a little bit ;)

No, unfortunately. It was the NES that included the zapper and the power pad.

I believe my first game was Kung-Fu Master for the Atari 2600, so I could play it on my uncle's old Atari 2600 at my grandmother's house. I don't have that anymore. My first console was SNES with Super Mario World. I do still have that.

It even seems to still work (with a CR2032 button battery the display lit up, but that battery was too thick to close the battery compartment. I'll have to get a thinner CR2016 battery in the next days and carefully remove the dust from the handheld.

After inserting a new battery.... IT'S ALIVE!

It was Super Mario World, sadly I don't have it anymore. :(

My first video game was also an LCD handheld, the first of a couple more I got afterwards.
It was this thing below, got as a souvenir from Melilla, nice little gift from my parents back then.

Have it and still works, love the little tunes it emits as it brings me back to that time, such a joy to listen.
FYI someone even made an app of it, but it is gone from the Play store... most likely due to license.
