Every morning i wake up, the first thing i do is get on my knees and pray this happens. I pray with all my heart. Its the only thing i can do short of purchasing whatever nintendo has in stock all by myself. And believe me, if i had that kind of cash, i would

The difference between India and all the other countries is exactly the reason we're bringing it up in the first place. India only now is gonna have the Switch 1 officially released in its territory, at least that's what the rumor says. And having a console being officially released makes a difference. I know that because my country didn't get the Switch back when it was launched globally, only later, in 2020. The Switch popularity increased a lot after 2020 here. Things can be different in India since the Switch 1 is now a legacy console, though

If Nintendo starts selling officially in India, I would not be surprised games to have local language support (E.g. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu). Perhaps not voice acting at first, but at least subtitles. That would make Nintendo much more attractive to the Indian market.

I really hope Nintendo produce and distribute last minute big quantity of Switch 1 in December - 1 - 1.2 million  for Europe

Why would they do that? They still can't sell them after Feb 2027 even if they produce them before.

As I understand it, Nintendo won't be shipping any more units to retailers, but the retailers should still be able to sell off their existing inventory:

"From mid-February 2027, almost ten years after Nintendo Switch launched in March 2017, Nintendo will no longer sell to retailers hardware in the Nintendo Switch family of systems..."

Or is there somewhere that specifies sales will stop completely that I'm missing?

It seems this may be the case. However Nintendo will not keep selling after the date from their own store.

"Sales of Nintendo Switch hardware on Nintendo Store will also end in mid-February 2027."

Regardless I doubt retailers are going to be interested in buying large quantities of the Switch 1 in advance to keep in their warehouses for months throughout 2027.

Time to start cutting back on those daily coffees and avocados.

I will be surprised if that doesn't take years to happen. It took years to happen in Brazil, and we only just got the first Nintendo game ever with PTBR dub with Star Fox! (And I like the dub better than the English one too btw, they did a really good job).

True, but Portugese helps a bit before. It's like there are no Flemish subtitles, but its close enough to Dutch that it doesn't impact that much. The Indian languages at the other hand, there is nothing close.
